Formerly Head of External Affairs of Her Majesty’s Customs and Excise and since 1982 Writer to The Queen’s Remembrancer. Married with one daughter. Specialist Interests: The Early Church, The relationship of Christianity to Judaism (particularly) and Islam. Catholic Tradition. Church History and Architecture. The Archaeology of the Bible and the Christian Church
